Short Description
On behalf of our client, Tetra Pak, world leading food processing and packaging solutions company, Manpower Serbia is searching for a motivated candidate to take the challenge and successfully fulfill the position of Accountant.
Description
- Participates in accounting activities in accordance with accounting principles and standards
- Responsible for gathering, compiling, verifying, and analyzing financial information and preparing financial and accounting reports
- Prepares information for specific or immediate problems or needs and leads discussions with external/internal stakeholders
- Participates in the process of financial and tax reporting
- Conducts account reconciliations, journal entries, and maintenance of complete and accurate general ledgers in accordance with accounting principles and reporting plans
- Responsibility for providing technical accounting advice within his area of expertise to functional or operational area managers
- Participates in process improvements and functional KPIs
- Communication and coordination with suppliers and customers
- Prepares reports for statistical purposes
- Leads discussions on standard issues with external/internal stakeholders, and performs other duties and work assignments as requested by superiors
Requirements
- University/College degree in Accounting or Finance/Economics
- Minimum 2 years of experience in accounting
- Good English and Serbian knowledge
- Excellent analytical skills
- Knowledge of accounting regulations
- SAP system knowledge is adventage
- Advanced computer skills (Excel/PowerPoint)
- Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills
