On behalf of our client, Takenaka, Manpower is seeking a qualified candidate for the position of Project Manager.
Job Description:- Subordinate to the General Manager
- Responsible for managing, organizing, and the financial operation of the Project
- Monitors the Project’s overall solution
- Communicates with customers
- Accepts the customer’s requirements
- Supports the customer before the commencement of the construction, during the construction process, and even after the construction has been handed over
- Inspects the resource management of the Project
- Responsible for planning and the realization of the Project
- Signs supplier contracts and orders
- Coordinates the Project’s workers and distributes tasks and responsibilities
- Performs continuous inspection of the fulfillment of work tasks by the individual departments working on the Project
- Helps solve legal issues related to the project
- Approves payments of all the subcontractors invoices related to the Project
- Approves suggestions for improvement
- Periodically presents reports to General Manager - weekly, monthly
- Implementation, support, and inspection of the integrated management system within the frame of the project’s realization
- Leads/manages projects with manageable risks and resource requirements or functional teams.
- Can be responsible for third parties (cooperating companies), budget monitoring, achieving standards, quality, costs and scheduling objectives for the project or operations they are in charge of.
- Attends training in accordance with the training plan and inspections in accordance with legal standards
- Responsible for QCDSE for the project they are in charge of
- Understands project background, customer needs and content of contracts establishes appropriate guidance for monitoring the operation site, raises awareness with stakeholders, and conducts stakeholder management which includes construction contractors
- Deals with government agency guidance and contractor additions and changes in a precise manner coordinates each type of inspection and delivers a building consistent with plans within the construction timeframe.
- Initiates and manages appropriate procurement/purchasing activities with responsibility for achieving profit objectives for the project for which they are in charge.
- Complies with the applicable laws and regulations of each country while ensuring safety/quality is managed in accordance with our company’s management methods
Education requirements:- Bachelor’s degree in Civil/Construction Engineering
- Certified Construction Manager (CCM) - valid licence 410 obtained from Serbian Chamber of Engineering (preferred)
Additional requirements- High level of knowledge of construction methods and technologies, and ability to interpret technical drawings and contracts
- Knowledge of engineering, technology, construction and HSE standards, Building Control Act and related subjects
- Highly developed analytics and problem-solving skills
- Highly developed communicational skills
- Highly developed organizational and time management skills
- Highly developed leadership skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with constant monitoring of quality
- Fluency in English
- Highly developed computer skills (MS Office)
- Active driving licence (B)
