Finance Manager

Short Description

On behalf of our client, an international company operating within the automotive and industrial manufacturing sector, we are looking for a candidate to successfully fulfill the position of Finance Manager. In this role, the Finance Manager will lead financial planning, budgeting, controlling, and strategic financial analysis, ensuring financial integrity, operational efficiency, and supporting the company’s long-term business performance.

Description

• Develop and manage annual budgets, and monitor performance against targets
• Analyze variances and recommend corrective actions
• Support strategic decisions through financial modelling and scenario analyses
• Establish and oversee internal control frameworks in line with IFRS
• Monitor and optimize manufacturing costs (materials, labor, overhead)
• Identify cost-saving opportunities and process improvements
• Oversee cash flow planning and financial forecasting
• Evaluate investment proposals, CAPEX projects and ROI
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
• Ensure compliance with local regulations, IFRS and corporate procedures
• Track monthly KPIs and key financial indicators
• Partner closely with Production, Procurement, Logistics and senior management
• Coordinate external and internal audits
• Lead, mentor and develop the finance team

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Economics or Finance
• Minimum 8 years of experience in finance/controlling (ideally in automotive manufacturing)
• Previous managerial experience
• Strong knowledge of financial analysis, planning, accounting standards and corporate finance
• Proficiency in MS Office; experience with SAP is highly desirable
• Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills
• Excellent organizational, communication and leadership abilities
• Fluency in English (written and spoken)
