On behalf of our client, Quantox Technology, Manpower Serbia is looking for a skilled and responsible candidate for the position of DevOps and Infrastructure Lead with proven hands-on expertise in cloud infrastructure (AWS), container orchestration (Kubernetes, Docker), CI/CD pipelines, big data environments, and system migrations.The ideal candidate will combine deep technical knowledge with strong communication and leadership skills — someone who can understand complex client requirements, design scalable solutions, lead internal DevOps initiatives, and maintain strong relationships with both internal teams and client technical stakeholders.
Description
- DevOps Strategy & Implementation
- Design, build, and maintain robust cloud infrastructure (primarily AWS) ensuring high availability, security, and scalability.
- Oversee containerized environments using Kubernetes and Docker.
- Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines for smooth, automated deployments.
- Manage infrastructure as code (IaC) using tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation.
- Ensure infrastructure cost optimization and effective resource management.
- Lead and execute migration of legacy environments to modern, containerized cloud setups.
- Client Engagement & Technical Consultancy
- Collaborate directly with clients to understand technical and business requirements.
- Translate client needs into infrastructure and DevOps strategies that align with best practices.
- Identify potential risks, performance bottlenecks, and scalability issues early on.
- Propose tailored solutions and provide expert recommendations on cloud architecture, monitoring, and automation.
- Maintain relationships with client technical leaders and participate in roadmap discussions for future scaling.
- Team Leadership & Internal Improvements
- Lead and mentor DevOps engineers, fostering a culture of automation, reliability, and collaboration.
- Conduct interviews and help recruit top DevOps and infrastructure talent.
- Define and implement internal DevOps standards, practices, and monitoring strategies.
- Work closely with development, QA, and product teams to streamline release and deployment processes.
- Continuously assess and improve internal systems and workflows to enhance efficiency and performance.
- Monitoring, Security & Reliability
- Establish observability, alerting, and incident response processes.
- Ensure compliance with security policies and data protection regulations.
- Oversee backups, disaster recovery, and high-availability configurations.
- Review and optimize existing monitoring and logging systems (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, etc.).
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- 6+ years of hands-on DevOps or Infrastructure experience.
- Deep knowledge of AWS services (EC2, RDS, S3, EKS, Lambda, CloudWatch, IAM, etc.).
- Strong experience with Kubernetes, Docker, and container orchestration.
- Proficiency with CI/CD tools (GitLab CI, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, etc.).
- Experience with IaC tools (Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible).
- Familiarity with big data pipelines and data migration strategies.
- Strong scripting skills (Bash, Python, etc.) and version control (Git).
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills
- Experience with Redshift, EMR, or other big data infrastructure tools.
- Familiarity with cost optimization, FinOps, and performance tuning.
- Knowledge of security standards (ISO 27001, SOC2, GDPR compliance).
- Background in cross-cloud or hybrid deployments (AWS, GCP, Azure).
