Logistics and Customs Specialist

Short Description

On behalf of our client, Techron Automotive, a company specialized in the production of plastic modules  and components for the automotive industry, we are looking for a candidate for the position of Logistics and Customs Specialist.

Description

• Organize and coordinate the transportation to ensure timely and cost-effective deliveries
• Manage and monitor all import and export customs procedures in accordance with applicable laws and company policies
• Prepare, review, and maintain customs and shipping documentation
• Communicate and coordinate with freight forwarders, customs brokers, transport companies, and relevant authorities
• Track and monitor the status of shipments and deliveries, ensuring accuracy of quantities, items, and delivery schedules
• Identify and resolve issues related to transport delays, customs clearance, or documentation
• Ensure compliance with international trade regulations, customs rules, and company procedures
• Collaborate with internal departments such as procurement, warehouse, finance to ensure smooth operations
• Support the implementation and daily use of the ERP systems within the logistic chain activities

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in logistics or supply chain management
• Minimum 2 – 3 years of experience in logistics operations, customs procedures and international transportation
• Knowledge of import/export documentation and customs regulations
• Excellent knowledge of English Language
• Experience with customs with respect to FDZ ( Free Trade Zone)
