Short Description

For our client, an international construction company expanding its operations and local team in Serbia, we are looking for a Licensed Architect – Execution (Licence 401 / AI 02-01) with strong construction and on-site experience.

The company will act as the General Contractor on various projects in Serbia, with an initial focus on industrial facilities, while commercial, residential and infrastructure projects are also planned.

Description

Support the organization and coordination of on-site construction activities within the architectural execution scope;
Coordinate subcontractors, engineers and other project participants;
Monitor execution progress and support overall construction management activities;
Communicate with relevant authorities, external stakeholders and project partners;
Support the process of obtaining necessary approvals and documentation;
Ensure that construction activities are aligned with technical documentation and applicable requirements;
Cooperate with the international team in exploring new design concepts, technologies and working methods, and support the identification of practical solutions in line with Serbian regulatory requirements;
Take on increasing responsibility as projects and the local construction team develop;
This position reports directly to the Chief Architect with responsibilities developing as the projects and local team grow

Requirements

University degree in Architecture;
Valid Serbian architectural execution licence AI 02-01 or previously issued Licence 401, with active registration and an authorised scope of work appropriate to the position;
Relevant experience in construction execution and on-site work;
Experience on industrial projects is preferred, while commercial, residential and infrastructure experience will also be considered relevant;
Experience in coordinating subcontractors and other project participants;
Practical knowledge of construction permitting and approval processes in Serbia, including communication with relevant authorities, required documentation and follow-up of applications through to approval;
Willingness to explore and adopt new design concepts, technologies and working methods introduced by the international team, while identifying practical solutions within Serbian regulatory requirements;
Professional proficiency in English;
Strong organizational and communication skills;
Proactive, responsible and hands-on approach;
Willingness to work across different project locations in Belgrade, the surrounding area and, when required, other locations in Serbia.
