On behalf of our client, Philip Morris International, Manpower Serbia is searching for for a motivated candidate to take the challenge and to successfully fulfill the position Business Data Analyst.
- We are looking for a data-driven, technically strong Business Data Analyst (Entry-Level) to join our DataInsights & Analytics (DI&A) global function and act as a business partner for Commercial Operationsacross South East Europe (Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Serbia, Montenegro, North Macedonia)
- While this role is entry-level by title, it sits within a highly skilled, high-exposure analytics team. It is designedfor analysts who already have a solid hands-on skill base and want to accelerate their growth through realbusiness ownership, complex data challenges, and intense stakeholder engagement.
- You will work closely with Senior Data Analysts, transforming data from SQL databases into Excel- andPython-driven insights and reports, supporting business performance management, forecasting, and forwardlooking planning across all key product categories: Conventional, IQOS, Veev (vape), and ZYN (nicotinepouches).
Description
- Support Senior Data Analysts in data extraction, preparation, and analysis from SQL databases
- Build, automate, and maintain Excel-based reports and analytical models used across 6 markets and multiple business functions
- Use Python to:
❖ Automate manual and repetitive reporting processes, and/or ❖ Leverage existing data frameworks for insight generation
- Actively contribute to business performance tracking, results analysis, and scenario planning
- Support sales forecasting and production planning in collaboration with Business Planning, Finance, and Commercial Operations
- Deliver regular and ad-hoc analyses to middle management and senior experts
- Act as an analytics partner to Operations and Customer Teams, supporting decision-making
- Work in structured delivery cycles using Jira and Atlassian tools for planning and prioritization
- Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and transparency across markets and categories
Requirements
- Preferred work experience in data analysis, reporting, or business analytics.
- Excel – strong mid-level proficiency (mandatory); advanced/pro-level skills are a strong advantage
- Python – basic but practical knowledge (mandatory), with ability to quickly:
❖ Automate Excel-based workflows, or ❖ Use and extend existing scripts and data frameworks
- Working knowledge of SQL and relational databases
- Strong analytical mindset, attention to detail, and structured thinking
- Proven ability to engage with multiple stakeholders across markets and functions
- Fluent English (mandatory) – all meetings, documentation, and reporting are conducted in English
Nice to Have / Strong Advantage:- Exposure to or strong interest in AI-driven analytics and predictive models
- Experience with Power BI, Matillion, Snowflake, Data Ocean, or similar analytics platforms
- Background in commercial operations, sales planning, or finance analytics
- Experience working in regional or international business environments
