Short Description
On behalf of our client, a company specializing in geological research, Manpower Serbia is looking for an experienced candidate for the position of Senior HR Coordinator.We are seeking an experienced and hands-on HR professional who will establish, structure, and lead the HR function in a growing organization. This is a standalone role with a strong operational focus. The successful candidate will be responsible for implementing HR processes, strengthening accountability, improving workplace culture, and ensuring transparent and compliant people practices across the organization. This role requires a strong personality, high integrity, and the ability to work independently while closely partnering with the Managing Director.
Description
HR Structure & Process Implementation
- Establish and implement HR policies, procedures, and internal regulations.
- Ensure consistent application of company rulebooks and labor law compliance.
- Develop and formalize processes for recruitment, onboarding, performance management, disciplinary procedures, and employee relations.
- Introduce clear accountability mechanisms and reporting structures.
- Participate in the implementation of an HR system.
Employee Relations & Culture- Contribute to shaping a culture of responsibility, transparency, and professionalism.
- Act as a trusted and confidential contact point for employees.
- Introduce formal grievance and complaint procedures.
- Support conflict resolution and promote a healthy work environment.
- Build trust with operational and technical employees.
Recruitment & Hiring Governance- Standardize recruitment processes across all departments.
- Ensure transparency and fairness in hiring.
- Co-manage hiring decisions with the Managing Director.
- Introduce structured selection processes and documentation.
HR Operations- Oversee employment documentation processes in cooperation with legal advisors.
- Ensure proper HR documentation and data management.
Requirements
- Minimum 5+ years of HR experience.
- Experience in establishing HR processes and systems from scratch is highly preferred.
- Experience in operational or industrial environments is an advantage (mining, energy, construction, engineering, etc.).
- Strong knowledge of Serbian labor law.
- Experience in employee relations.
- English language proficiency.
- Strong character, high level of integrity, resilient, proactive and solution-oriented.
- Ability to work independently in a standalone HR role.
