Area Sales Manager

On behalf of our client, an international company specialized in the development and production of valve solutions for water supply, wastewater treatment, gas distribution and other industrial infrastructure systems, we are looking for an experienced professional to join their team in the position of Area Sales Manager.

Description

• Implement the regional sales strategy and achieve defined sales targets
• Identify new business opportunities and develop relationships with potential customers
• Maintain and strengthen relationships with existing clients and distribution partners
• Promote the company’s product portfolio and ensure strong market presence within the assigned territory
• Organize and support internal and external product presentations and trainings for customers and partners
• Monitor market trends and ensure the product portfolio aligns with market needs
• Maintain an overview of customers, potential clients and competitors within the geographical area
• Develop and implement a structured plan for customer visits and sales activities
• Prepare regular sales reports and monitor KPIs on a monthly basis
• Analyze distributor performance and follow up on sales and budget variances

Requirements

• Experience in sales, preferably within the valve industry or industrial equipment sector
• Strong ability to develop and maintain long-term customer relationships
• Good technical understanding of industrial products and applications
• Entrepreneurial mindset with a self-driven and structured approach to work
• Confident, approachable and socially skilled personality with strong communication abilities
• Independent and proactive in managing sales activities
• Fluency in English (written and spoken)
