Short Description
On behalf of our client, Manpower is looking for a qualified candidate for the position of The Tenant Coordinator – Architect.
- This position combines architectural expertise with tenant coordination and site-based project management for large and complex developments such as shopping centers and mixed-use facilities.
- He/She would be responsible for managing the interface between tenants, design company, contractors, and the project team during the design and construction phases of retail development.
- The role ensures that tenant requirements, architectural standards, and project timelines are aligned and successfully implemented, while maintaining quality, compliance, and budget control.
Description
- Coordinate tenant design submissions and ensure compliance with landlord criteria, project standards, and regulations;
- Act as the main technical contact for tenants during design and fit-out;
- Review drawings, specifications, RFIs, and technical documentation and evaluate completeness and accuracy;
- Coordination between tenants, contractors, consultants, and internal project teams;
- Monitor contractor schedules, site progress, and performance related to tenant areas;
- Support delivery of works on time, within budget, and in line with quality standards;
- Manage design changes and support the technical change process;
- Prepare progress reports, field reports, and punch lists;
- Track completion of outstanding works;
- Identify risks, clashes, and technical issues and propose solutions.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in architecture or architectural engineering
- Minimum 3 years of experience in construction/project delivery (Project Architect or similar)
- Experience on retail, mall, or large commercial projects preferred
- Experience with tenant coordination and fit-out processes is an advantage
- Knowledge of construction processes, building systems, and safety regulations
- Proficiency in CAD and architectural documentation tools
- Ability to read and evaluate construction schedules (CPM)
- Good command of MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
- Strong coordination and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects
- Problem-solving and detail-oriented mindset
- Ability to work with contractors and site teams
- Proactive, team-oriented approach
