Power BI Developer

Short Description

On behalf of our client, Manpower Serbia is looking for a highly skilled Power BI Developer to join the EMEA Data Department to deliver insightful data solutions. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in building visually compelling and impactful Power BI dashboards while having the technical expertise to develop data pipelines and manage data sources in our HANA (SAP) system. The role emphasizes understanding business challenges, proactive problem-solving, and engaging with multiple stakeholders across our organization.

Description

• Design, develop, and maintain informative and highly engaging Power BI dashboards and visual reports tailored to different stakeholder groups.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements to ensure Power BI solutions align with organizational goals.
• Develop, test, and optimize SQL-based data pipelines and integrations with SAP HANA or other databases to ensure data quality and accessibility for analysis and reporting.
• Translate complex business requirements into technical solutions, applying best practices in data visualization and user experience design.
• Proactively suggest improvements in reporting strategies and streamline processes for better decision-making.
• Perform ongoing maintenance, debugging, and performance optimization of Power BI solutions.
• Create user documentation, provide training to end-users, and ensure alignment with internal data governance standards.
• Work alongside the broader data team to collaborate on shared objectives and projects.

Requirements

• Demonstrated experience working as a Power BI developer or in an equivalent role, with a strong portfolio of Power BI dashboard development.
• In-depth knowledge of the Power BI platform, including DAX (Data Analysis Expressions), Power Query, and Power BI Report Server.
• Expertise in SQL with proven ability to develop and maintain complex data pipelines and integrations with systems such as SAP HANA.
• Strong ability to analyze business processes, gather requirements, and translate them into technical solutions.
• Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
• Collaborative team player with a proactive approach towards problem-solving and improving processes.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and a focus on delivering high-quality outputs.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Analytics, or related field (or equivalent experience).
