Description

The Senior Accountant will be responsible for managing and overseeing daily accounting functions, reconciling accounts, preparing financial statements, and financial reports, ensuring compliance with local regulations, and supporting audits. The role also involves analysing financial data, preparing reports for management, and providing guidance on financial matters as well as maintaining and monitoring compliance with established internal controls.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA, ACCA or equivalent certification is an advantage
• Proven experience in preparing year-end and consolidated financial statements
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and regulatory frameworks; familiarity with IFRS is an advantage
• Excellent understanding of compliance with regulatory requirements
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail
• Proficiency in MS Office tools, especially Excel; experience with accounting software is highly desirable, with BC considered an advantage
• Fluency in English, both written and spoken
• Strong organizational, time management and communication skills
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team
• High level of integrity and commitment to accuracy and compliance
