On behalf of our client, a global leader in packaging and paper, Manpower Serbia is looking for an experienced professional to take on the role of IT Specialist.
Description
- Operate, monitor, and maintain on-premises IT infrastructure in compliance with Mondi global architecture, security, and operational standards
- Ensure high availability, performance, and resilience of infrastructure components supporting manufacturing (OT) and business-critical IT systems
- Perform system administration tasks, including operating system hardening, patch management, configuration changes, and vulnerability remediation in line with security and compliance requirements
- Implement, monitor, and support backup, restore, and disaster recovery processes
- Monitor infrastructure and security events using centralized monitoring tools; analyze alerts, perform first- and second-level troubleshooting, and manage incidents and service requests through the ITSM platform
- Provide End User Support (L1/L2) for workplace services, including endpoint, application, and connectivity issues
- Operate and maintain network connectivity across local and regional sites, including LAN/WAN, VLANs, routing, VPNs, and OT/IT network integration
- Administer and operate firewall and network security services, including Palo Alto Networks firewalls (policy management, rule changes, troubleshooting)
- Manage endpoint and client environments, including Microsoft Intune MDM, device enrollment, compliance policies, application deployment, and endpoint security solutions (e.g. CrowdStrike)
- Coordinate and oversee external service providers and vendors, ensuring service delivery in line with SLAs and Mondi operational standards
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date technical documentation, including system configurations, network diagrams, procedures, and operational guidelines
Requirements
- Completed education in IT or related technical field, or equivalent practical experience
- 5 years of professional experience in IT operations, infrastructure, or technical support.
- Broad understanding of enterprise IT environments (Windows servers, network (Palo Alto, storage, workplace) in a manufacturing context.
- Knowledge of operating systems, infrastructure services, and IT security principles.
- Familiarity with monitoring, backup, and incident management processes.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a global team, with strong stakeholder communication skills.
- Structured, solution-oriented approach and willingness to adapt in a dynamic environment.
- Excellent command of English (written and spoken); additional languages are an advantage.
Nice to Have
- Experience with virtualization (VMware/Hyper-V), cloud or hybrid environments (Azure).
- Exposure to OT/IT security concepts and industrial network environments.
- Experience working in multi-site organizations and with external service providers.
