On behalf of our client, a fast-growing Serbian agribusiness company, Manpower Serbia is searching for a motivated candidate to take the challenge and successfully fulfill the position of CFO.
Job description- Lead the preparation, review, and presentation of financial statements and management reports (balance sheet, P&L, cash flows, equity reports).
- Define financial strategy, manage capital structure, and oversee short- and long-term financial planning.
- Ensure compliance with International Financial Reporting Standards and local accounting/tax legislation.
- Oversee internal controls, accounting systems, and financial data accuracy across departments.
- Direct and manage annual audits: select and coordinate with external auditors, ensure implementation of audit recommendations.
- Identify financial risks, implement mitigation strategies, and establish company-wide risk management practices.
- Build and supervise cost control systems to ensure sustainable profitability.
- Lead budgeting and forecasting processes, including long-term investment planning and fundraising.
- Develop relationships with banks, investors, and financial institutions.
- Supervise and mentor the finance team, ensuring high performance and professional development.
Position Requirements- Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.
- Minimum 2–5 years of progressive financial leadership experience
- Extensive experience in agricultural finance or export-driven industries (strong advantage).
- In-depth knowledge of international and local financial regulations
- Demonstrated success in managing audits and financial risk.
- Proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems; experience with 1C ERP is a strong plus.
- Advanced Excel skills and strong command of English or Russian (fluency in at least one is mandatory; both preferred).
