On behalf of our client, a leading European entertainment and gambling provider - MerkurXtip, Manpower Serbia is searching for a motivated candidate to take the challenge and successfully fulfill the position of Chief Digital Officer MerkurXtip is a dynamic and fast-growing sports betting and online gaming company. With a strong presence in the Serbian market, MerkurXtip offers innovative, secure, and regulated betting and casino experiences. As the Chief Digital Officer, you will be the central leader for our entire online business in Serbia. You will be responsible for the strategic development, growth, and operational success of our digital brand in the online casino and sports betting sectors. A key part of this role is leveraging the synergies between our digital platform and our around 100 retail locations. You will report directly to the Representative of the majority shareholder of the Shareholder Assembly and serve as a Managing Director, thereby becoming a member of the senior leadership team.

Job description
- Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement a comprehensive digital strategy to expand our market position in the online gaming sector and identify new growth opportunities.
- Business Responsibility: You will have full P&L responsibility for the online business, including revenue, costs, and profitability.
- Omnichannel Integration: Ensure that digital offerings are seamlessly integrated with our physical branches to create an outstanding customer experience across the entire ecosystem. This includes optimizing deposit and withdrawal processes in the shops and implementing marketing and customer loyalty strategies that connect both channels.
- Marketing & Growth: Lead the online marketing teams and define strategies for performance marketing, SEO/ASO, content marketing, and CRM to maximize customer acquisition and retention.
- Product Development: In close collaboration with the product and tech teams, drive the development and optimization of our online platforms to ensure a first-class user interface (UI) and user experience (UX).
- Team Leadership & Development: Lead and motivate a team of digital experts, fostering a culture of innovation and high performance.
- Compliance & Regulation: Ensure that all digital activities comply with Serbian gambling laws and regulations.
- Experience: Minimum of 5–7 years of experience in a senior leadership position in e-commerce, online gaming, or a similar digital environment, ideally with P&L responsibility.
- Industry Knowledge: You have a deep understanding of the online casino and sports betting markets, as well as a strong grasp of digital business models and technology trends.
- Omnichannel Understanding: You have a proven track record of connecting online and offline channels and know how to leverage the advantages of both.
- Leadership Skills: You are an inspiring leader with the ability to motivate teams to achieve high performance and set clear strategic goals.
- Analytical Skills: A data-driven mindset is second nature to you. You make decisions based on KPIs and thorough analysis.
- Language Skills: Fluency in both Serbian and English is essential. German is a strong plus.
