On behalf of our client, a company that provides tax advisory, audit, and accounting services, Manpower Serbia is looking for an experienced candidate for the position of Senior Tax Consultant/Assistant Manager
Description
- Prepare, organize, and manage all tax documentation, reports, and statements;
- Execute client tax projects;
- Prepare, analyze, and manage business processes and related activities;
- Ensure compliance with company rules, policies, and applicable regulations;
- Anticipate and propose solutions to address client concerns and escalate issues as they arise;
- Develop a thorough understanding of the company’s operations, business lines, and service offerings; where applicable, participate in discussions with client management, supported by the Manager, Director, or Partner, to gain insight into other departments and explore potential collaboration opportunities;
- Organize, lead, and execute tax engagements, including research, tax risk analysis, preparation of memorandum/reports, conclusions and findings, and other related activities;
- Manage and execute transfer pricing projects;
- Manage and execute tax-related projects (e.g., VAT, CIT, DTT, M&A, WHT, PIT, Property Tax Act, Law of Contracts and Torts, etc.);
- Collaborate with the Tax Administration and other relevant institutions regarding tax inquiries and related matters;
- Participate in consulting activities in the field of company law;
- Participate in advising and preparing documentation related to status changes (M&A);
- Support the establishment of companies and the preparation of all necessary acts required for their operations;
- Contribute to and participate in the development of relationships with existing and new clients;
- Coach, educate, and support junior colleagues and tax consultants;
- Achieve team and individual project budgets and objectives;
- Support and contribute to the overall improvement of the organisation;
- Oversee administrative and archiving duties related to tax advisory services, ensuring accuracy and compliance in support functions; manage and update tax databases;
- Assist with marketing activities (e.g., proposal preparation, seminars, publications, etc.).
Requirements
- University degree in Law, Finance, Economics, or related field;
- Previous working experience in the same or a similar role;
- At least 3 years of experience in transfer pricing;
- Strong knowledge of tax laws and regulations;
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills;
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills;
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects;
- Strong team-oriented collaboration skills, strategic mindset, leadership capabilities, technical expertise, customer focus, and results orientation;
