Material Planner

Short Description

On behalf of our client, Tetra Pak, Manpower Serbia is looking for a candidate to take on the role of Material Planner.Location: Gornji Milanovac

• In this role, you will manage the replenishment of Additional Materials categories and contribute to maintaining optimal inventory levels while delivering a high standard of service to our customers.
• You will report to the Material Team Lead and work closely with suppliers, converting factories, and the global planning structure

Description

• Maintain master data in systems and tools to ensure accurate planning.
• Place orders with suppliers, monitor order status until arrival, and keep systems updated.
• Regularly review and update safety stock levels to maintain optimal inventory.
• Monitor demand and supply deviations and take corrective actions when supply issues arise.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth material flow for production and delivery.
• Analyze KPI losses and lead or participate in improvement initiatives.
• Maintain strong cooperation with suppliers, including RFC, ordering, and delivery processes.

Requirements

• Bachelor degree (preferred background in economics or finance)
• Fluency in English both in written and verbal.
• Preferred work experience in the Material Planning or other similar operational area of expertise
• Experience with SAP R3 
• Experience working with MRP (Material Requirement Planning) tool – having worked intensively with APO-R (SAP) being a big advantage
• Knowledge in material planning process and tools, logistic flow
• Confident user of various IT tools such as MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook), WebEx, Microsoft Teams.
