Shipping coordinator

On behalf of our client, Toyo Tire, we are seeking a motivated candidate to take on the challenge and successfully fulfill the position of Shipping Coordinator.

It employs over 13,000 people worldwide and is the eleventh-largest tire manufacturer in the world.

Toyo Tire Serbia was established in 2019. Construction of its production facility began in 2020, and manufacturing operations launched in 2022. The factory includes a tire testing track and Serbia's first, and currently largest, solar power plant.

Job Description:

• Coordinate activities in factory delivery operations.
• Ensure timely and accurate execution of orders and deliveries according to the policy defined for each client.
• Contribute to the achievement of short-term forecasts and sales plans.
• Manage loading processes and collaborate closely with the warehouse team.
• Record and monitor client orders, backorder levels, and distribution status.
• Ensure proper price management.
• Oversee the invoicing process.
• Organize the delivery of goods to clients with accurate documentation, following international sales rules and customs regulations.
• Manage deliveries according to partner requirements.
• Check the status of trucks/heavy trucks in transit, monitor arrival times, and provide alerts in case of delays.
• Maintain communication with carriers and clients regarding warehouse management at client premises.
• Provide all necessary documentation in accordance with client import specifics.
• Record client claims and forward them to the claims management team.
• Monitor payment, sales, and order statuses, and track invoicing processes.
• Adhere to legal regulations within the scope of the role.
• Meet departmental KPI goals related to time, quality, accuracy, and cost.
• Participate in new plant start-up activities, especially in logistics for materials, equipment, machinery, supplies, and finished products.

Requirements:

• Previous experience in a similar position.
• High level of proficiency in English.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Strong problem-solving abilities.
• Knowledge of SAP software is an advantage.
• Ability to work in a dynamic environment and collaborate with various teams.
