We are looking for a dynamic and strategic Head of IT to lead our organization’s technology operations, encompassing both IT infrastructure and business applications. This role is responsible for ensuring the reliability, scalability, and security of our IT environment while also driving innovation and efficiency through enterprise applications and digital solutions.Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Leadership:
- Define and execute the overall IT strategy aligned with business objectives.
- Lead digital transformation initiatives across infrastructure and applications.
- Serve as a key advisor to executive leadership on technology trends and opportunities.
- Oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of IT infrastructure including networks, servers, cloud platforms, and end-user systems.
- Ensure high availability, performance, and security of all infrastructure components.
- Manage disaster recovery and business continuity planning.
- Application Management:
- Lead the development, deployment, and support of enterprise applications (e.g., ATS, CRM, HRIS, custom software).
- Collaborate with business units to identify application needs and deliver scalable solutions.
- Oversee application lifecycle management, including upgrades, integrations, and vendor relationships.
- Build and manage a high-performing IT team, including infrastructure engineers, application developers, and support staff.
- Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
- Ensure IT systems and data are secure and compliant with relevant regulations (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA, ISO).
- Work closely with cybersecurity teams to implement and monitor security protocols.
- Manage relationships with technology vendors, consultants, and service providers.
- Develop and manage the IT budget, ensuring cost-effective technology investments.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
- 10+ years of progressive IT experience, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.
- Proven experience managing both IT infrastructure and enterprise applications.
- Strong understanding of cloud technologies (AWS, Azure), cybersecurity, and software development methodologies.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- ITIL v4 Foundation or higher
- PMP or Agile/Scrum certifications
- AWS/Azure Solutions Architect
- Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP)
