On behalf of our client, an international company in agro-business, Manpower Serbia is seeking an experienced professional to take on the role of Shared Services Centre Director for the EMEA region.
Job description- Lead the implementation of the Shared Services Operating model and target Finance processes (running on SAP S/4HANA) with the support of Migration Manager
- Oversee centre physical setup: workspace planning, IT & infrastructure readiness, and overall logistics.
- Drive recruitment, onboarding, and training of Shared Services Centre teams (c. 30 employees including 3 team leads for AR, AP, and Treasury) while creating an attractive working environment that attracts talents.
- Supervise the transition of accounting processes from in-scope countries into the SSC, in close collaboration with the Migration Manager
- Ensure adherence to the approved Shared Services transformation roadmap, business case, and alignment with Group Finance and Executive Management expectations.
- Setup and monitor SSC KPIs (Productivity, Accuracy, Internal Customer Satisfaction, Compliance, Cost efficiency) and follow-up routines
- The team of Senior General Accountants (GA) reports directly to the Shared Services Center Director
- Build trust-based relationships with Country CFOs and Finance Directors across scope countries.
- Manage the relationship with external financial auditors for all countries within the SSC scope.
- Communicate progress, risks, and achievements regularly to Senior Management and key business partners.
- Take full accountability for service delivery performance, team leadership, and continuous improvement across the SSC.
- Foster a culture of operational excellence, customer orientation, and continuous improvement (Lean, automation, process standardization, etc.).
- Support further scalability and potential scope extensions of the SSC.
Position Requirements - Proven experience in managing Finance & Accounting Shared Services operations (8-10 years min) with a track record of leading teams (~ 20 people)
- Previous experience in setting up, transitioning, or optimizing shared services functions is highly desirable.
- Previous strong leadership and people management skills, experience working in or with international or pan-European environments
- Excellent stakeholder management capabilities, with the ability to collaborate with senior finance leaders in different countries.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Fluent / Bi-lingual English (C1 minimum)
- Experience in the industrial sector is a plus.
