- As a Site Manager, you will take full responsibility for the successful execution of hydropower projects on site. You will lead installation, assembly, and commissioning activities while coordinating multidisciplinary teams, subcontractors, customers, and project stakeholders.
- You will ensure projects are delivered safely, on schedule, within budget, and according to the highest quality standards

Description
Site Leadership & Project Execution
- Lead and supervise electrical installation, assembly, and commissioning activities on customer sites.
- Plan, coordinate, and monitor daily site operations to ensure project milestones are achieved.
- Track project schedules, workforce capacity, resource allocation, and installation progress.
- Coordinate site interfaces between engineering, project management, customers, consultants, and subcontractors.
- Resolve technical and operational challenges while supporting escalation management when required.
Construction & Contractor Management
- Review and approve installation records, measurement protocols, technical documentation, and site reports.
- Ensure construction activities are executed according to approved engineering documentation and project standards.
- Support site procurement activities and coordinate the availability of required materials and equipment.
Quality, Health, Safety & Environment (HSE)
- Promote a strong safety culture across all site activities.
- Ensure full compliance with Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) regulations and company policies.
- Monitor quality standards throughout project execution and implement corrective actions where necessary.
- Ensure all project documentation and quality records are properly maintained.
Leadership & Stakeholder Management
- Lead, coach, and coordinate multidisciplinary site teams.
- Plan workforce requirements and optimize team performance.
- Maintain effective communication with customers, consultants, subcontractors, and internal project teams.
- Foster collaboration and create a positive, high-performance working environment.
Commercial & Project Support
- Support cost control and site budget management.
- Ensure contractual requirements are fulfilled throughout project execution.
- Contribute to successful project delivery by balancing technical, commercial, quality, and schedule objectives.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related technical discipline.
- Several years of experience in electrical installation, commissioning, or site management within the power generation, hydropower, or heavy industrial sector.
- Proven experience managing international construction sites and supervising subcontractor teams.
- Strong technical knowledge of generators, rotating equipment, or large electrical systems.
- Solid understanding of project execution, construction management, and site coordination processes.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and engineering software such as AutoCAD or equivalent.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong decision-making ability with a proactive, solution-oriented approach.
- Professional working proficiency in English. German language skills are considered a strong advantage.
- High level of ownership, accountability, and customer focus.
- Willingness to travel internationally and work on long-term project assignments.
