Supply Chain Manager

Short Description

On behalf of our client, Techron Automotive, a company specialized in the production of plastic modules and components for the automotive industry, we are looking for a candidate for the position of Supply Chain Manager.The Supply Chain Manager will play a key role in establishing and managing the supply chain function for a new production facility. In the initial phase, the role will combine responsibilities related to procurement, planning, and supplier management. As the organization grows, the position will contribute to building and structuring the future supply chain team.

Description

• Establish and implement the Quality Management System (QMS) in accordance with IATF 16949 requirements
• Manage and develop procurement activities, including both indirect and direct purchasing
• Establish and maintain a supplier base for production materials and operational needs
• Participate in defining supplier standards and cooperation frameworks together with the quality team
• Manage purchasing processes, including supplier selection, negotiations, and contract management
• Plan and coordinate material supply for production, ensuring availability of required materials
• Monitor and optimize inventory levels and material flow
• Develop and improve supply chain processes and procedures
• Work closely with production, quality, and finance teams to ensure efficient supply chain operations
• Support the implementation and daily use of the ERP system within supply chain activities
• Contribute to building and structuring the future supply chain organization as the factory grows
• Warehouse management and implantation of WMS

Requirements

• University degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Quality Management, or a related technical field
• University degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field
• 5+ years of experience in supply chain, procurement, or materials planning, preferably within the automotive industry
• Experience in manufacturing environments
• Strong knowledge of procurement processes and supplier management
• Experience working with ERP systems
• Strong analytical, negotiation, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently in a greenfield production environment
• Fluent English
