R Shiny Developer

Short Description

On behalf of our client, Manpower Serbia is  seeking an experienced and passionate R Shiny Developer to join their dynamic EMEA Data Department. The ideal candidate will exhibit strong technical expertise in building, deploying, and maintaining R Shiny applications, coupled with the ability to translate complex business requirements into user-friendly technical solutions. The role requires excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively within a global and cross-functional team environment.

Description

• Develop and maintain interactive R Shiny applications aligned with business needs.
• Work closely with stakeholders to gather, understand, and translate business requirements into technical specifications and application features.
• Proactively collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for automation and process optimization using R Shiny tools.
• Ensure scalability, usability, and reliability of applications built using R Shiny.
• Perform regular troubleshooting, debugging, and optimization of applications to ensure seamless performance.
• Document technical processes, applications, and workflows to maintain transparency and knowledge sharing.
• Suggest innovative solutions and provide technical recommendations to enhance user experience and efficiency.
• Leverage SQL for data extraction, linking datasets, and improving application performance (SQL knowledge is considered a plus).

Requirements

• Proven work experience as an R Shiny Developer or in a related role with demonstrable expertise in developing R Shiny applications.
• Solid understanding of R programming language and extensive experience with R Shiny framework.
• Strong ability to gather, analyze, and document business requirements.
• Hands-on experience with data visualization, statistical analysis, and interactive dashboards.
• Good SQL skills are advantageous for database interactions, data manipulation, and querying.
• Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think innovatively.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, or related field (or equivalent experience).
