Database Administrator
- Manage, maintain, and monitor all Bank database systems to ensure high availability and performance.
- Perform capacity planning, database tuning, and optimization.
- Install, configure, and upgrade database software in both production and test environments.
- Support application development teams with data modeling and database design.
- Implement and test backup and recovery procedures.
- Monitor and control database access, implement security measures, and report potential vulnerabilities.
- Provide first-level troubleshooting and assist other IT teams with database-related issues.
- Participate in the development and execution of the IT Disaster Recovery (DR) plan.
- Monitor DB user activity and report any security-related issues to the IT Manager.
- Propose improvements or new internal DBA procedures to ensure efficient and secure operations.
- Report regularly to the IT Manager on activities, progress, and issues related to database operations.
