SAP EWM Consultant

ApplyJob purpose: Takeover responsibility of processes and system customizing within EWM system implemented in our projects. Further system optimization to fulfil business requirements and sustain system operation. Stabilize the system after EWM system implementation in our central finished goods distribution centre and take active role in further projects.Key responsibilities:You will join a very exciting SAP EWM and SAP TM implementation project for our main and central distribution centre

• Your experience will be very appreciated in one of our first SAP EWM and SAP TM projects – you will play a very important role in developing our digitalisation path within SCM area
• After the project further improvements, extensions and rollouts are planned, including transformation of our global ERP system to S/4HANA

You will be responsible for processes, business consulting, customizing, optimizations and system changes within SAP EWM system for finished goods and production warehouses

• Contribution in SAP EWM implementation project for our central Distribution Center 
• Implement, maintain and support system integration to automated intralogistics with EWM MFS (like automated high-bay warehouse, electric monorail systems)
• Support utilization and optimization of PPF Framework

Project work

• You will join implementation projects to learn, optimize and harmonize business processes
• You will design new E2E processes, implement and optimize business processes, train Key Users, support extensive test phases and system go-lives

Day-to-day system operation

• You will utilize your expertise and know-how gained within the projects to perform 3rd level system support

Prepare specifications and work with developers

• You will transfer business requirements into functional and technical specifications and work with developers on implementation of new system extensions, reports, BAPis, etc.

System Architecture and integration

• Support and extend SAP EWM and ERP integration (idoc, DRF), as well as SAP EWM and TM. (LDAP)
• Ensure seamless communication between systems with technologies like Web Services, API, RESTful, EDI

Understanding of EWM system

• Understanding of system environment – combination of business processes, technology and user integration

• Staying updated with the latest technologies and best practices in both front-end and back-end development is crucial but can be demanding.

Performance Optimization:

• Ensuring that applications run efficiently and can handle large volumes of data and transactions, especially in manufacturing and logistics environments.

User Experience:

• Designing user interfaces that are not only functional but also intuitive and user-friendly, which can be challenging given the complexity of the applications.

Collaboration and Communication:

• Working effectively with cross-functional teams, including other developers, designers, and stakeholders, to ensure that all aspects of the project are aligned and progressing smoothly.
