Database Engineer

ApplyWe are seeking a seasoned professional to join Insicon's Belgrade-based product development team. In this mid/senior role, you will work as a database engineer on Agile/SCRUM projects, independently managing your tasks while collaborating closely with teams across development, testing, and architecture. Your focus will be on designing, developing, and maintaining robust and scalable database solutions using the latest Microsoft technologies for large-scale clients. You’ll tackle a variety of tasks, including optimizing complex queries, managing data integrity, performance tuning, and supporting data-driven features. Responsibilities:

• Participate in various projects and development groups
• Design, implement, and maintain efficient and scalable database solutions, including stored procedures, views, and functions
• Support performance tuning, query optimization, and monitoring to ensure database health and responsiveness
• Ensure data integrity, security, and availability across development and production environments
• Collaborate with development teams to support the integration of data-driven features and ensure alignment with business requirements
• Assist in planning and executing data migrations, upgrades, and deployment scripts
• Share best practices, contribute to internal documentation, and actively participate in knowledge-sharing across the database engineering community of practice
