Civil Engineer

• Reviewing the obtained project scope, estimating quantities and cost of materials, equipment and workforce to determine project feasibility 
• Analyzing survey reports, maps, drawings, blueprints, and other topographical and geologic data •Analyzing studies of traffic patterns or environmental conditions 
• Identifying environmental risks and developing risk management strategies for civil engineering projects 
• Participating in planning and designing construction project systems and structures, using computer-assisted design and drawing tools 
• Controlling the use of materials, equipment, and machines 
• Preparing proposal documents and presentations 
• Accurate understanding of customer needs and relevant laws and proposing value additions such as equipment systems and environmental/energy saving measures 
• Monitoring the surveying process to establish reference points, grades and elevations to guide construction 
• Planning and supervising the analysis of load and grade requirements and material stress factors 
• Monitoring project progress in compliance with design specifications and safety standards 
• Monitoring and analyzing market trends and business competition 
• Managing and controlling the structural work on the construction site 
• Managing and supervising the testing process of adequacy and strength of soils and materials 
• Managing and directing the construction, operations, and maintenance activities at the project site 
• Maintaining relevant project documentation and effectively and efficiently managing the team 
• Organizing PR2/3, DTR2/3, and accurately identifying, co-owning, and proposing solutions to problems during interim/completion inspections 
• Directing, monitoring and controlling the activities of Subcontractors to ensure adherence to project safety regulations 
• Directing engineering activities, ensuring compliance with environmental, safety, and other GR 
• Providing technical advice to industrial and managerial personnel regarding design, construction, program modifications, or structural repairs 
• Responsibility for relevant procurement/purchasing, carrying out budget control, and achieving the project’s profit objectives 
• Responsibility for QCDSE and Stakeholder Management
