Zinc Process Engineer
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for design and tracking of the new production techniques, or new products, and guarantee the completeness for all Zinc production processes.
- Responsible for analysis and Problem Solving in terms of the production site, and production techniques. Implementation of continuous improvement, for increasing the production efficiency and decreasing the cost for all Zinc production processes.
- Owner of PFMEA documentation for all Zinc production processes.
- Responsible for planning the process flow, organizing layout and number of workers needed for all Zinc production processes.
- Updates of the process charts, layouts and SOP for all Zinc production processes.
- Ability of engineering calculation (Capacity planning, production cost), and planning for all Zinc production processes.
- Responsible for production machines, fixtures, tools, other production related equipment and proposal of the suppliers for all Zinc production processes. Close cooperation with Maintenance and Quality teams, for root cause analysis.
- Responsible for reconstruction of the machines and layout, if needed, and coordinate project team members, and guarantee the project forward for all Zinc production processes.
- Work with HQ, push forward related international projects for all Zinc production processes.
- Training & Know-How Transfer, preparing Working Instructions as well as Standardization Working Sheets for all Zinc production processes.
- CAD engineering (fixture, tool-design)
Profile:
- University degree, mechanical, metallurgical, or electrical engineering related background.
- Experience in Zinc casting, Injection molding, machining and polishing processes.
- Basic production layout planning and implementation experience.
- Knowledge of mould technology, mechanical equipment and purchasing process.
- Basic project management experience.
- Ability to analyze and solve production problems independently.
- Drawing, project management and other office software
- Fluent in spoken and written English, and/or German
